Curry Vendors

As you go further south in Thailand you begin to see more Muslim people. Nakhon Si Thammarat has a good mix of Buddhist and Muslims plus a sprinkling of ethnic Chinese. Thai Muslims are, like most Thai people, usually very friendly. Rather than a chador, the women typically cover their head with a scarf. Their lovely smiles and laughter are, thankfully, not covered up! These young women are selling a variety of home-made curry pastes. They must be quite good as they appear to be almost sold out.
