Woman Making Roti in
Takua Ba

This is one of the young women who makes roti at our favorite restaurant in Takua Ba. Here she is throwing out the roti prior to frying it on the grill. Note the surface of the metal work area — slick from all the oil. The two smaller lumps in front are “resting” prior to being expanded for frying.
