Michael’s Favorite Buddha at Wat Phra Mahatat, Nakhon Si Thammarat

I suppose this is my favorite Buddha image at this location. Every visit I take another few pictures to try to capture its essence. This image shows the beauty of the aging process of the statues. The gold patches on the cheek are gold leaf that has been applied by worshippers. I’ll include a bonus picture of the full face.
