Delicious Coconut Hotcakes!

When we stay in Bangkok we start off every morning with kanom krok — Sweet and Savory Grilled Coconut-Rice Hotcakes — bought from this vendor (named Siripon) near our hotel. (She’s on Sukhumvit road just before soi 57 up from Thong Lo.) She is from Thailand’s Northeast (Isahn) and works hard to support her family there. You can read about her at Kasma’s website.
